This versatile vest is crafted from ramie voile, a natural and sustainable cloth made from the plant fibre of the Chinese nettle plant. Its Asymmetrical cut creates a flattering hemline making it perfect for layering over vests and under cropped shirts and jerseys. To create movement, the side seam line curves across the body rather than straight down. Colour is applied using a garment dye process, which involves dyeing entirely constructed garments to allow for unique colour variations and a softer feel.
Layering with sheer fabrics balances design and practicality, in Japan it's common to layer fine fabrics over a vest top to create airy and cooling looks.
